HOW DOES LOCATION REWARD WORK?


You will earn bonuses in 2 ways when you enable Location rewards.

 

1) Scan Rewards

You can earn rewards by scanning barcodes of products in participating retailers. SHOW

 

 

2) Notification rewards

You will receive notifications when you are near a participating retailer. When you open up the notification for deals from a participating retailer (ex: Target, Walmart, Walgreens, etc) you will be rewarded. It's completely free and there is no need to purchase anything. This is how it works. 

  1. Drive/Walk around around 
  2. AppKarma detects you're near a participating retailer
  3. We send you a notification
  4. You open up the notification to view the deal
  5. Rewards are issued to your account
     
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

For this feature to work, you will need to enable the following permissions:

  1. Location permission - we need this to know when you are near a participating retailer. This needs to be set to [Always Allow]
  2. Notification permission - this is so that we can send you notifications when there are reward opportunities near you.

     
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AFTER ENABLING LOCATION REWARDS?

1) For Scan Rewards, click on the Location Rewards button, then select SCAN REWARDS to see scan reward opportunities around your area. 


2) For Notification Rewards: After you turn on location and notification permission, all you have to do is go about your life. When you drive or walk around a participating retailer like Target, Walmart, etc, you will receive notifications for deals. Simply open them up and you will receive your bonus.
